DO not buy a warranty from colonial home warranty, they have 4 pages of fine print, I had 1 claim in 2 years of my 4 year plan..they denied it. took 4 days to give me an answer, 4 days without my heat, poor customer service…need i say more, I would’nt recomend them to my worst enemy….sc

You should know a reputable A/C company I don't know if Service one is in your area but they have a good plan. If you are selling your home and need one ask your realtor. Or just go ahead and call acouple of realtors as a lot of folks have them when selling an older home. The realtor should know the better plans. get one that is serviced locally not one that you call an 800 number and then any yahoo could show up.

Sorry, can't recommend anything positive about these warranties. Some of them are outright scams; but even those that are "legitimate" end up not offering much protection. Remember that the company providing the warranty is trying to make money, and one way they do that is by adding fine print that very often doesn't cover (or cover fully) the problems you end up having…
