Which company is best American Home shield or Home Buyers Protection by First American?

I had a home warranty program from Broward in Florida. Their service repair people actually work for Broward. But my exerience is they don't know what they are doing overall. When the compressor went out on my A/C, they replaced it but I have talked to other people who said that their companies replaced the A/C when a compressor went out.
I just had a company come out and look at my A/C to do routine maintenance. The company does not do home warranty work so they are neutral on the subject. The technician told me that the A/C should have been replaced.
The technician said that he goes to a lot of homes and hears a lot of comments but that he has never heard any bad comments about Home Buyers Protection by First American.
If you have any personal experience with either American Home Shield or Home Buyers Protection, I hope you will share the details.
I've used American Home Shield and have never had a problem with them on any claims. I think they are an excellent company. I know some who have HBP, and they seem quite happy also. Consumers Reports would probably have the absolute lowdown on both companies if you really want to know how they actually rank out.

I have american home shield and Ihate that company I have a plumbing problem for ouer two months I did not trust the company they sent out so I asked for a different company yo come out and they still have sent no one out my toilet is still leaking
